AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE COMPENSATION

The “gassing threshold” – where lead acid batteries reach their peak charge level – changes with temperature. The higher the temperature, the lower the threshold. Minn Kota® On-Board Chargers compensate for temperature by adjusting the output voltage to assure you always receive the proper charge. It also protects batteries from “boiling” due to overcharging at high temperatures. You get a better charge, with better protection.
